I’m excited to announce the launch of String’s API! Our API is the first ever to optimize shipping from end-to-end and help you ship at the lowest cost with 99.9% accuracy.  String uses AI to find the smallest package and cheapest delivery service for every shipment in realtime.

When we started building String, our goal was to bring fulfillment optimization to as many businesses as possible. While there are existing solutions that solve one piece of the puzzle, nothing existed to make sure business ship orders at the lowest possible price.

So far, businesses using String save $1.50 per shipment on average across the tens of thousands of shipments we’ve processed.

While we’re excited to see the success of businesses we’re working with, we want to help even more business save money. To date, only businesses using a platform like ShipStation or Extensiv have had access to String.  The launch of our API opens our platform to any business in the US that wants to save time and money on shipping.
